If you are looking for a simple, great value boat with no frills then it doesn’t get much better than the Xavier III. Compact cabins are colourfully furnished and welcoming and there are plenty of spacious communal areas for relaxation. In between excursions you may want to snooze on the sun deck or relax in the lounge and there is a well stocked bar where you may want to knock back a sundowner or two! The friendly crew and your dedicated naturalist guide are on hand at all times to help you navigate these incredible islands. Other nice touches include complimentary wet suit and snorkel equipment hire, which is not always the case with Galapagos cruises.
We prefer the upper deck cabins as these have larger windows than the lower decks. It is also worth noting that certain itineraries include a night in a Galapagos hotel rather than all the time on board the boat – do ask us for recommendations as the itineraries do vary a fair amount.
